Near perfect 1974 FRN
Does anybody know what I should do with this perfect looking 1974 FRN? I received it as part of my band pay Saturday. It has an "I" inside the emblem to the left of Jackson. It stuck out like a sore thumb. Maybe worth 20.12? I have no idea. If not it goes to the dealer.

I dont see a pic, but if you can exchange it for an ounce of silver or a couple hamburgers I wouldnt waste any time.

Probably what I'll end up doing. Not worth the time for a pic. Just a really well preserved piece of paper.

I found a 1934 10 dollar FRN once, was told it was worth nothing.

Re: Near perfect 1974 FRN
if you are talking collecting currency, it's worthless. you might get a sucker off ebay to buy it, otherwise, like the man said, get a double cheesburger from MacD''s or a silver dime.

Ten dollar notes haven't been worth 10 dollars since April 5, 1933. |
Re: Near perfect 1974 FRN
I somehow wound up with a 1953 $100 bill. Was brand new looking. I literally wound up taking it to my bank. Gas station and sub shop both refused to take it. :haha::haha:I couldn't believe it.

Re: Near perfect 1974 FRN
OK this is crazy, my wife's niece just handed her a 1934 series 100 dollar bill (from her bank) and asked her if I'd know what its worth. I think we all know the answer to that. I suppose I'll have to tell her its worth 100 dollars?
